I try not to let the media get in my head, but this year I am a little on edge. They’re saying that we’re gonna be staring at empty shelves by mid November 😳.
I have seen the supply chain interruptions first hand and I don’t think they’re exaggerating.
We’re doing our best at the store to get ahead of this. So we should have an amazing selection of gifts for you. But if you can, shop early!

Turkish towels are a must-have travel accessory. They're absorbent and yet they dry super fast so you never have to worry about cramming a funky damp towel into your suitcase. You can actually wear them, I often end up wrapping one around my neck as a scarf for my flight, usually, because my suitcases are overstuffed and also because it's nice to wrap it over your head while you sleep.

Tuberose reminds me of Hawaii. As a teenager, I remember working at restaurants when the flower girls would come in with their baskets overflowing with leis made from tuberose. The scent is so feminine and exotic. The balmy humid air combined with the smell of tropical floral notes can make one feel a little bit intoxicated. Now the smell makes me nostalgic for a time when my surfboard was my most expensive possession and my wardrobe consisted of bikinis and flip flops.⁣
